Final Starter T-ball Registration

Starter T-Ball sign-ups, for ages 3-4, are Tuesday night from 6-8 pm at the Concession Stand at the historic Level Cross Ball Grounds. Registration fee is $40. We're only taking eight more players, so if you are interested in your child playing this fall, please come and register. Games begin September 11.

LCAA Announces Fall Ball Plans

The Level Cross Athletic Association will host Fall Ball at the historic Level Cross Ball Grounds for the third consecutive year. Children who will be ages 3-12 by April 30, 2011 are eligible to play.

Baseball Age Divisions include 3&4 Starter, 5&6 T-Ball, 7&8 Coach Pitch, 9&10 Kid Pitch and 11&12 Baseball.

Registration Fees:
7&8, 9&10 and 11&12 Player Registration Fee is $60
3&4 and 5&6 Player Registration Fee is $45

Sign-ups are Sat., August 7 and Sat., August 14 from 10 am-2 pm at the
Level Cross Community Center. Assessments on Monday, August 16. Practices Begin On Thursday, August 19.

Games Begin On Saturday, September 11, 2010. Games for ages 7 and up are mostly double-headers played on Saturday afternoons. The 3&4 and 5&6 Divisions play single games Saturday mornings. No Games on Saturday, October 9. Championship Tournaments on Saturday, October 30.

Outside Teams Invited To Play Fall Ball

The Level Cross Athletic Association welcomes all outside teams to participate in Fall Ball at Level Cross.

Baseball divisions include 5&6 T-Ball, 7&8 Coach Pitch, 9&10 Kid Pitch and 11&12 Baseball. Division eligibility is determined by player’s age as of April 30, 2011.

Games begin on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Games are scheduled as double-headers played on Saturday afternoons. The 5&6 division plays single games on Saturday mornings. No games on Saturday, October 9.
Championship tournaments will be played on Saturday, October 30.

Teams must be registered and paid by Thurs., August 19. Coaches meeting on Thursday, August 19 at 7:00 PM in the Level Cross Community Center to turn in rosters, copies of birth certificates and discuss league rules. Teams in the 7&8, 9&10, and 11&12 divisions will play a minimum 9-game league schedule.

Level Cross All-Star Tournament

All Star teams from across the North Carolina piedmont streamed into Level Cross on June 19, playing through the heat to show the hearts of champions.

6u T-Ball - The DC Dynamite, out of Midway NC, defeated the Randleman All-Stars for the title.

8u Coach Pitch - The Level Cross All Stars won four consecutive games in every way imaginable, powerful offense and sterling defense, to take the crown. LC won a defensive struggle over Pleasant Garden 4-2 in the championship.

10u Kid Pitch - Archdale crept by Brier Creek, near Thomasville, then mercied second-place Level Cross for the title.

12u Baseball - Level Cross defeated Pleasant Garden and the Greensboro All Stars to win the championship.

2010 RLBL Champions

The week of June 5 culminated with the championship tournaments for all teams participating in the Randleman Lake Baseball League. Here is a breakdown by age division of champions at host sites.

5&6 T-Ball @ Randleman - The Randleman Cardinals outlasted the Randleman Tigers in an extra innings, two-night slugfest for the title.

7&8 C-Ball @ Sumner - After taking down the undefeated Level Cross Vipers in the semi-final, the Level Cross PigMasters lost an extra innings classic to hard-hitting Sumner 21-20.

9&10 Kid Pitch @ New Market - The New Market Diamondbacks topped the undefeated Randleman Dodgers to give New Market back-to-back Kid Pitch championships.

11&12 Baseball @ Level Cross - This Sumner team won its third consecutive league championship with its victory over the Randleman Indians. It also won the 2008 Kid Pitch title and the 2009 Baseball championship.
